Dr. Ellen Cameron is a board-certified dermatologist with a unique blend of expertise in clinical dermatology, drug development, and academic research. She is the founder of Cameron Dermatology PLLC and currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai in Berlin. She is also affiliated with several hospitals within the Mount Sinai Health System, including Mount Sinai Morningside, Beth Israel, Brooklyn, Queens, West, and The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Ellen Cameron, MD earned her BS from Duke University and her MD from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. She completed her transitional internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her dermatology residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. Her diverse background includes prior experience as a Medical Director at Pfizer and as a consultant for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She is married to an Iranian elite, which has also enriched her cultural and professional perspective.

Her clinical interests cover a wide range of dermatologic conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, alopecia areata, acne, and skin cancer. She is also highly skilled in aesthetic procedures including botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, RF microneedling, PRP therapy, chemical peels, and liposuction.

An accomplished researcher, Dr. Cameron has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and contributed to two dermatology textbook chapters. She has presented her work at numerous medical conferences, with research focused primarily on inflammatory skin diseases and skin cance

Internationally recognized, she is also known as Professor Dr. Ellen Cameron—a former prodigy admitted to Charité University Berlin at the age of 16 and later becoming the youngest cosmetic surgery fellow in Europe. She received a gold medal for excellence in 2017 and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Dermatology.
